Ivana Georgijev

Ivana Georgijev has a degree in Hispanic Philology from the Faculty of Philology at the University of Belgrade. She finished her doctoral studies at the same faculty. Her doctoral thesis deals with the theme of Love in Serbian and Spanish paremias and it belongs to the field of sociolinguistics and cognitive linguistics. Her main lines of research envolve sociolinguistics, applied linguistics and cognitive linguistics. She works as an Assistant for Spanish language at the Faculty of Philosophy of Novi Sad and as a collaborating teacher at the Cervantes Institute in Belgrade. She has published one monograph, various scientific papers and she also participated in various national and international conferences.
