Giuseppe Gatti Ricardi

Giuseppe Gatti Ricardi is an expert on Latin American literature and the author of dozens of articles published in prestigious journals and edited volumes. "He holds a Doctor Europeus cum laude in Spanish and Hispanic American Literature from the University of Salamanca, and was awarded an Associate Doctorate from the same university in 2010-2011. He is Professor of Spanish Literature at the Universita degli Studi Guglielmo Marconi (Rome) and since 2020 he has been a Visiting Professor at the Unviersitatea de Vest in Temisvara. He is co-editor of Cuadernos del Hipogrifo - Revista digital semestral de literatura hispanoamericana y comparada and author of six books published in Spain and Italy, as well as numerous translations from Spanish into Italian. He is an outstanding expert on the latest trends in literature written in Spanish throughout the world. He works closely with the Red de Hispanistas de Europa Central network and is a member of the scientific board of several journals published in Central Europe, including Colindancias. He is a regular participant in Hispanist academic events organised in the region and a guest lecturer at several universities in the network. He is currently a Visiting Professor at the University of the West in Timișoara.
