Bojana Kovačević Petrović
Bojana Kovačević Petrović is Assistant professor at the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Novi Sad, Serbia. She received her PhD in Hispanic Philology from the Faculty of Philology, University of Belgrade. Her fields of research are Latin American and contemporary Spanish literature, translation studies, Hispanic cultures and theater. He has published around 50 papers on the literary creation of Carlos Fuentes, Mario Vargas Llosa, Santiago Roncagliolo, Guillermo Martínez, Octavio Paz, Zoé Valdés, Roberto Bolaño, Federico García Lorca... as well as on the mutual influences of Serbian / Yugoslav and Hispanic cultures. He has translated about thirty books from Spanish to Serbian: novels, essays, short stories and plays by Spanish and Latin American authors. She has also edited two volumes of the Anthology of the Spanish American Short Story, Anthology of the Actual Hispanic Short Story and Anthology of Spanish Children's and Youth Poetry. She is the author of the monograph Carlos Fuentes in search of identity (2019) and co-editor of several academic publications. She is manager of the Ibero-American Center of FFUNS and co-coordinator of the CIBAM-CLACSO Special Group “Latin America and the Balkans: cultural and social links”.
