Emilio J. Gallardo-Saborido . ORCID: 0000-0002-8124-5290. Associate researcher since 2018 at the Escuela de Estudios Hispano-Americanos/Instituto de Historia, Spanish National Research Council (CSIC). Among his fields of research, the study of literature and the sociology of the culture of contemporary Latin America stands out. This interest is connected to a line of research on the transatlantic literary relations during the Cold War. In connection with this topic, he is the main researcher of the project “Latin American writers in European socialist countries during the Cold War” (PID2020-113994GB-I00, I+D+i Research Projects, Spanish State Programs of Knowledge Generation. Call 2020, 1^st September 2021-31^st August 2024). He develops a second line of work on the configuration of the contemporary Andalusian cultural identity, especially in its relationship with Latin America. In this sense, he is the main researcher of the project “Presence of flamenco music in Argentina and Mexico (1936-1959): commercial spaces and Spanish partnerships” (PY20_0100 4, Grants for carrying out I+D+i projects. Public bodies, 2020, Regional Government of Andalusia, 2021-2022, 5^th October 2021-31^st December 2022).
